Who we are

ForestGuard is operated by Binary Labs Teknoloji AS, based in Istanbul, Türkiye. When we say "we" or "us," we mean Binary Labs Teknoloji AS company.

What we collect

Only what you give us, plus the basics any website sees:

When you fill in a form or email us: your name, organisation, email, phone (if you share it), and whatever you write in the message.
When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address.
When you donate: your name, email, and billing details. Card details go directly to our payment provider — we don't store them.
When you browse: IP address, device and browser info, pages visited, and cookies (see below).

We don't try to identify individual visitors, and we don't collect sensitive personal data.

How we use it

Reply to your message or enquiry.
Send you the newsletter (only if you subscribed — unsubscribe any time).
Keep the site running, secure, and improving.
Handle donations and meet our accounting obligations.

We don't sell your data. We don't use it for ads.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the site, under written agreements:
Website and forms: Wix
Email and analytics: Google Workspace
Payments: Stripe / Wix Payments
Authorities: only if legally required.

We use essential cookies to run the site, and (with your consent) analytics cookies to understand traffic. You can manage these through the cookie banner or your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Enquiries: up to 24 months after last contact.
Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
Donation and invoice records: as long as tax law requires.
Website logs: up to 14 months.
