At the JCI Creative Young Entrepreneurs (CYE) competition, our Co-Founder and CTO Batuhan Esirger represented ForestGuard on the European stage, won the Turkey championship, and finished 2nd across the continent. He will now take that pitch to the world finals.

CYE runs across 120+ countries and brings together entrepreneurs who are already building, not just planning. Placing 2nd in Europe, out of national champions across the continent, is a result we are genuinely proud of.

But what Batuhan pitched is what matters most to us.

ForestGuard is a near-real-time environmental monitoring platform built for the places traditional infrastructure cannot reach. Our sensors deploy in forests, industrial perimeters, and remote landscapes, collecting data on temperature, humidity, particulate matter, VOC levels, and more, continuously, without relying on grid power or cellular coverage. That data feeds an AI detection engine that can identify the early signature of a fire hours before it becomes visible, and route an alert to the right hands in under a minute.

The social impact is straightforward. Wildfires are accelerating globally. Detection speed is the single variable that determines whether a fire stays manageable or becomes a disaster. Every hour of early warning translates directly into lives, ecosystems, and livelihoods protected. At roughly €1 per 1,000 m² per year, ForestGuard brings that capability to customers who previously had no viable option.

This competition result reflects what the technology already does in the field.

We will keep building.
